Rachael Pike

Rachael PikeRachael completed her Music degree at Royal Holloway University of London in 2001, and then for four years she worked in boarding schools as an assistant housemistress. She left to do a PGCE in primary education, and having taught Year 5 in a primary school near Redhill for just over a year, she changed her career path and is now the administrator for her church in Reigate. Rachael has been in the Knole Singers for almost 4 years now.

Hannah Bimson

Hannah BimsonHannah has enjoyed choral and solo singing from a very early age. Having been to Royal Holloway University of London (1998-2001) to study music and completing a Secondary Music PGCE in 2002, she combined her singing with a successful teaching career in Kent. Hannah co-ordinated the Swale Music Centre (as part of Kent Music), and also found time to fulfil the role of Music Director at her church in Maidstone, and to study Sacred Music. This year, Hannah is sad not to be able to be singing with the choir so much, but also loving the fact that she has moved to North Devon to live and work in the Christian community of Lee Abbey until April 08.

Claire Goodall

Claire GoodallClaire joined the Kent Music School Kent Youth Singers in 1991 and participated in the Belgium tour under the direction of the infamous Ray Jones. She joined Kent Youth Choir in 1994 and Kent Youth Chamber Choir in 1995, and took part in the tour to Florence and Venice in 1996 and Lausanne and Interlaken in 1999 as a member of both of these groups, and the latter as the prestigious "senior bitch".

With Kent Youth Chamber Choir she has enjoyed tours to Liverpool Cathedrals and Lancaster Priory, Norwich Cathedral, St Paul’s Cathedral and Gloucester Cathedral.

Claire is also a member of the City of Canterbury Chamber Choir, under the direction of George Vass, with whom she has sung solo roles such as the Pie Jesu in the Fauré Requiem and a member of the Sittingbourne Orpheus Choral Society, where she has enjoyed roles including Mabel in Pirates of Penzance by Gilbert and Sullivan and the May Queen in Merrie England by Edward German. Claire has also been an occasional singer with the Vasari Singers.

Claire undertook her BScHons degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Salford and graduated in 1998. She has worked in adult and paediatric physiotherapy, but currently works as the Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in Accident and Emergency for East Kent Hospitals, and manages the medical physio team at Margate Hospital. In September 2006 she will also commence an MSc in Management in Health and Social Care.

Claire lives in Dover with her husband Andrew and her son Morgan, who was born in 2003. She continues to enjoy encouraging singing activities for children and regularly works for Kent Music as a supervisor on their residential singing courses, and therefore still gets to go to Benenden to enjoy a “friendly” game of croquet on the terrace, plenty of buns and always the lovely barbeque.

Quintilla Hughes

Quintilla HughesQuintilla graduated with a degree in Music from the University of York in 2004. Since then she has been pursuing a career in marketing and pr in London. Quintilla performs regularly with Laudibus, the National Youth Chamber Choir, and as a deputy in churchers throughout London.

Charlie Graham

Charlie GrahamCharlie started singing when she joined her local Church choir at the age of 10. Since then she has been a member of the Kent Youth Choirs and continues to supprt Kent Music by working as a supervisor on the residential courses. She currently sings with Cantate Chamber Choir and joined Knole singers for their tour to Glouscester in 2003. Charlie graduated from the University College Chichester with a BA QTS and currently works as a primary school teacher at a school in Cliftonville, Margate.

Letitia Perry

Letitia PerryLetitia is currently working in Kent as a performer and singing teacher whilst continuing her studies; taking a Diploma in Opera at Birkbeck College, London and learning with Julie Kennard of the Royal Academy of Music. Prior to this she completed a music degree at King’s College London University, specialising in Advanced Performance. In the past Letitia has sung as a King’s College London Chapel Choir Scholar, for Eton Lower Chapel Choir, Westminster Guards Chapel Choir and the Sackville Singers in Sevenoaks. She currently sings with the Kent-based Knole Singers and with the Hampstead Garden Opera Chorus.

Sarah Moss

Sarah MossSarah Moss has been singing with the Knole Singers since the dawn of time, and currently reigns as the choir's great and powerful leader. She is a professional hockey player and spends every minute of her spare time playing skittles and drinking games. Sarah has a degree from Cambridge, lives in London and seems to go on lots of holidays. Blah blah blah. Send your biog please.

Louise Morris

Louise MorrisLouise lives in a secret location in one of the Blatic states. She works on a cruise ship, where she sings, dances and gives talks on how businesses can become more involved in the recyclate market. She is a self-proclaimed environmental warrior, and her hero is captain planet. Louise has a pack of dogs, who pull a sled for her in winter when the baltic sea is frozen and cruises are cancelled. It is too cold there for Louise to hold a pen, so the writing of her biography for the Knole Singers website has fallen into the hands of someone else...
